We had a wonderful time at Sabrina & Cesars place & would have loved to stay longer. Next year hopefully :) Sabrina & Cesar are very friendly & helpful hosts & have created an island of tranquility & beauty in Mahahual. The two buildings & the property were obviously designed with ecological preservation in mind. For the construction as little surface area as necessary was sealed. A rich selection of trees and plants are kept intact which creates shade naturally cooling the property. When one steps from the hot Mahahual streets on the property a magical little garden opens itself & the temperatures are a few degrees lower. Many birds, some very colourful roam the this garden. The apartments are tastefully furnished, designed & equipped. The beds will be a bit short for people taller than 182cm/6 feet. The location is in a quiet side street and there is no noise during day and night. The beach is circa 15-20 mins by foot, 5 Mins by bike. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our month long stay here. It became our home and now we actually miss it! Everyone onsite was super friendly and they even helped facilitate massages at the property, fishing, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

We intended to stay 4 nights, we left after 3. Reasons for our early departure were partly the weather. On arrival it was great, after that there was a lot of rain and wind. So not really attractive to do anything and enjoy Mahahual. Second reason was the small bed, we had to be careful not fall out of bed when turning. The bed looked bigger on the photo, that’s our lesson learned here in Mexico. Book something with a king bed if you are tall like us. We did enjoy the apartment. Lot’s of space, a good kitchen. The room has a nice breeze so we never used the airconditioning. Other than the bed it’s very comfortable. This place finally had a TV that I could use airplay with. With the bad weather it was a nice way to catch up on some shows.
