Cozy, charming house, close to downtown but secluded. Michael is a wonderful, thoughtful host who meets you warmly and anticipates all needs! This has the feel of a family home, and it's full of distinctive Western NY charm. Will definitely stay there again. One caution: the stairway to the bedrooms is narrow and the steps are very small--it would be hard for someone with any mobility and balance issues to climb them. Other than that: perfect.

We loved our stay at Michael’s cottage. The house is clean and cozy. It has everything you need. We were lucky to have nice warm days during our visit to Fredonia. We enjoyed the outdoor barbecue and fire pit. Michael is always available and very helpful if you need anything. The hosts are very welcoming and very nice people. Will be staying here again!

This was our third visit to the Rock Cottage. The location is central to downtown Fredonia and walkable to many restaurants, bars, the park, a local gym, stores, and more. The owner has always been quick to respond to any questions and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome at the property. The Rock Cottage is very clean and well stocked with anything you might need for a short stay. We will be back!

This was my 2nd stay at Michael’s. It was really special because every room in the house was tastefully decorated for the holidays! I will definitely return for a peaceful, comfortable stay!
