Miguel Ángel and his family gave me a warm welcome and they were always trying to make me feel comfortable. They have a lot of stories to tell and we found so many things in common and we shared many of our experiences. The place was clean enough to stay comfortable and is quiet so I always slept well. The neighborhood is one of the best of the city, it’s streets are plenty of trees and is quiet and safe, and also very close to downtown. Nice restaurants around and very nice places for rumba. Miguel is always willing to guide you to the most important places of the city.

This was my second stay at Miguel & Nancy's. I keep coming back to their place, because it feels like staying with family. (Actually, even my family isn't as attentive as they are). My favorite part has to be having dinner in the kitchen with the hosts and the other tenant. There is always good conversation and an unexpected fruit juice concoction courtesy of Nancy (the last one was orange + carrot). I've convinced a friend of mine to stay here also during their upcoming visit, and hopefully I'll get to do that again myself.

Miguel and Nancy offer a very specific type of experience: that of visiting loving family members that missed you and want to know how your day went. They went totally out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable at their apartment, and to learn how they can run the place better for future guests. Previous guests had complained about poor responsiveness, which was true at the time because Miguel and Nancy had been totally new at using the Airbnb app. I was the second person they hosted, and I helped them set the whole thing up. Now that their notifications are set up right and they know what to expect from the app, their boundless hospitality will be able to fully shine through. Shared amenities are adorably small but very efficiently used. Scheduling was never a problem for the shared bathroom or common areas. During my time in their home, they were constantly sharing their food and their life experiences. This is a place for chatty people that want to feel like they're staying with family. If you speak English and want to learn Spanish, you could hardly do any better. They are eager to share their bike, their electric motorcycle, and all their advice about nearby places. In fact, Miguel personally took me to all the local places to get food and groceries. I've stayed at much fancier places in Bogotá, but this is the place I will always remember.

+ Great hospitality + I got fresh juices, coffee and sometimes food 👌🏼 + Good and a lot of conversations with Miguel + very good area - Because of lack of knowledge of the Airbnb App, very bad communication and unprepared - In the apartment lived 4 people - Laundry machine did not work
