We had a wonderful stay at Villa Venia. The photos on Airbnb do the place justice. Quiet surroundings, beautiful views, olive trees all around the house and a pool with fantastic terrace. When we arrived in the evening, our host Athina warmly welcomed us, after having given us directions how to get to the venue. Everything was well taken care of, including fresh water, fruits and bread waiting for us. That extra effort made the difference to us! The rest of our stay was equally pleasant. Waking up in the morning and having breakfast while enjoying the views over the olive trees and sea felt like ultimate freedom and relaxation. Highly recommended for a family with children, our kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed our time off!

The villa was perfect. Privately tucked away in an olive grove, but conveniently close to great restaurants and beaches. Ideal size for our family of 4, with a fantastic pool and wonderful views. The host was amazing and incredibly welcoming. Nothing was too much bother, and we even had a private tour of the greatest nearby beaches and tourist attractions. The villa and the host are both highly recommended, and I urge anyone looking for a tranquil, enjoyable spot to spend a vacation to go there immediately.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und pünktlich empfangen und uns wurde direkt alles erklärt und gezeigt. Die Gastgeberin Athina ist sehr herzlich und hat alles wunderbar für uns vorbereitet, inkl. etwas Wasser, Eier, Brot, einen Wein von ihrem Weingut et cetera. Als wir uns ausgeschlossen haben (die Türe schliesst automatisch) war sie innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Ersatzschlüssel vor Ort. Athina war immer erreichbar und hat sich zwischendurch nach uns erkundigt. Die Unterkunft an sich hat uns positiv überrascht. Alles war sehr schön und auf der Terrasse ist man sehr für sich. Die Grillen und zeitweise die Pumpe vom Pool sind die einzigen – etwas lauten – Geräusche. Mit dem Abzug des Ofens hatten wir ein bisschen Mühe aber ansonsten lief alles wie am Schnürchen. Sehr gerne wieder!

Absolutely beautiful villa and the host was so welcoming and accommodating! We had unexpected cleaning on the second day. The villa is really well taken care of. We even had a beautiful sunset view. We visited the family’s winery which is a must see on Zakynthos. I cannot recommend enough and pray we get back to Villa Venia again.
