Great stay!!

Cleanliness (Bad): When we arrived, it was clear only a surface level cleaning was attempted. Pots/pans/dishes hadn't been cleaned, appliances like coffee grinder were full from past resident, countertops weren't fully cleaned and attracting ants, floors hadn't been swept (only main walkway), the sheets hadn't been washed (we had to wash on arrival to remove stains/pet hair). Worse of all we found bodily fluid on the handle and toilet that hadn't been cleaned. Amenities (Doesn't match photos): We rented intending for a long stay and the fridge isn't there, just a mini-fridge with handles missing. Additionally, theres no bed frame from the pictures, just the bed on the floor, which also hand't been pulled away from the wall as there was a bunch of dirt and garbage behind it. There's also not blinds on many of the windows, and the street where people can walk up to Muir shows straight to the bed if you look.

Outstanding location in Muir Woods!! Lots of space, super comfy bed, and a full kitchen made this a wonderful place to stay while exploring the area. The space is below the main house and activity on the floor above is definitely audible, however it didn't really bother me as I was up early being from the east coast.

Overlooking a forest ! Incredible. Close to lots of hiking trails. Perfect to get away from the city. Low ceilings, tall people take note. Also, the studio is attached to the main building. If you are keen on feeling totally isolated - this may not be the best place. The patio for the studio is visible / next to an entrance to the main house. Diana the host is great and very responsive if you need anything.

Beautiful area and lovely place. Hosts were great too.
