The location is beautiful. Its .a few kilometres from the busy port of. Bubaque, right next to a semi private beach, surrounded by cashew trees and mangroves. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Charles was an amazing host..He and his wife treated me like one of the family. He can arrange fishing trips.....he's a professional fisherman.....and all kinds of excursions to neighbouring islands on request . if you're looking for peace and quiet this is for you! I would definitely go back.

La habitación contaba con lo necesario para pasar un par de noches. Limpia y sencilla. No había agua caliente en la ducha aunque con el calor no hacía mucha falta. La casa está ubicada justo en frente del mar y es muy agradable pero se encuentra alejada del centro de Bubaque y se tarda casi 1h en llegar andando, por lo que recomiendo hacerse con una bicicleta para los desplazamientos en la isla. La familia es muy amable y muy simpáticos.

Highly recommend Charles and Euginie's place for a wonderful, comfortable, homely stay on Bubaque Island. They were incredibly hospitable and warm, and my time on the island was as good as it was many thanks to Charles' suggestions and help (renting a bike, helping me get to/from the port..?). It was fantastic to chat to both of them and I'll always have wonderful memories of my time in Bijagos

Charles and Eugenie were amazing. Charles met us at the port and they were both on hand for anything we needed during our stay. He’s very friendly, had good local recommendations and made us feel right at home. The space is as described and the surroundings are idyllic - you can walk to the beach in 2 mins. Would highly recommend for Bubaque!
