This was my second stay. I loved it here the first time, and loved it even more this time. It feels more like a home away from home. I love how thoughtful the hosts are with their provisions, snacks, breakfast, decor…just everything. I had an unexpected change of plan where I had to bring my dog. Michele was very accommodating to this. My baby met Rex and I think they’re in good terms 🥹 I will be back. I love it here.

Our family has stayed with Michele before. The space is clean, cozy and amazingly quiet. We always enjoy time on the dock watching the osprey and loons. It was too windy to successfully go for a paddle but we do appreciate how easy Michele has made it to get out on the water. We look forward to our next stay here.

Absolutely charming! This place feels just like home sweet home. The location is exquisite - at the end of a long, private drive, shrouded with trees, and leading right up to the water. Parking was simple for our two cars. The interior space is beautifully curated, plenty private, and stocked so thoughtfully (to include snacks, tea, coffee, toiletries, games, movies, books, phone chargers, etc.). It was also incredible for me to be able to bring my dog along. The place was stocked with treats, toys, bowls, a dog bed, waste bags, etc. for all her needs. Michele’s dog, Rex, was a total sweetie, and he paid my dog little mind. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape, this one delivers! Michele was so easy to plan with. Her recommendations on what to see/do in the area were also fantastic (I loved going to Flag Ponds to fossil hunt). I’d absolutely stay with Michele again!

A perfect location for a quiet retreat. Sunsets from the dock were beautiful. This will be our go to anytime we are in the area.

We picked Michele’s Airbnb because it was a cozy spot that we could enjoy in and of itself, as well as other options to explore not far away. We appreciated Michele’s thoughtful touches—like coffee, breakfast, and snacks for guests and noting the best time to catch the sunset. The unit has kayaks that my husband enjoyed using and sits near a pier overlooking a beautiful view! There is a lovely breakfast nook where you can enjoy the scenery too. We also enjoyed checking out Solomon’s Island and Calvert County State Park not too far away. Michele and Matt were extremely thoughtful, kind, and responsive hosts. We would love to stay here again!
