Le gîte de Marie est idéalement situé au milieu du vignoble de Montagne Saint-Emilion, juste à la sortie du village. On y trouve une cuisine très bien équipée, ouverte sur la pièce à vivre. Le gîte est en parfait état de propreté, tant dans la chambre que dans la salle de bain ou la zone vie. Après un accueil chaleureux où on se sentait attendu ! nous avons pu profiter des lieux en toute intimité et aller et venir facilement. Je recommande cet endroit pour sa quiétude et sa proximité avec la nature. Merci Marie pour votre hospitalité.

What a very beautiful view from this sweet little gite - a gorgeous sweep of Saint Emilion vines and a private garden to sit and drink it all in! You park right by the gite, with gates protecting everything. Marie is a fantastic, welcoming and responsive host, as is her husband and the lovely dog and cat. The WiFi is perfectly good enough for one person to work on Zoom. From our point of view it was a shame there was no oven, just a microwave, as we love to cook. But that’s a very small quibble in what is a thoroughly lovely place to stay. We will definitely try and return. 100% recommended.

We had our return visit to au coeur des vins last week and we enjoyed it every bit as much as last year. Marie and Jean-Luc make us feel so welcome. We love the kitchen which is very well equipped. Also, the garden is the perfect place for an aperitif in the evening. We love watching the work of the vendange and exploring the area. Au Coeur des Vins is the perfect place from which to explore the area including the unmissable St. Emilion and the numerous vineyards of Bordeaux. The boulangerie in the village of Montagne is excellent and great for a mid-morning coffee and a pastry. The quiches and bread are delicious. The Maison des Vins in Montagne is very welcoming and a great place to buy local wines and are of good value and quality. We would recommend this listing without reservation and hope to return again next year.

This is a real gem of a property set amongst vineyards in very tranquil rural surroundings. The property was immaculately clean in every way and equipped with all the necessary essentials for an enjoyable break. Whilst being located in a quiet setting, the property is also close to small villages with all the basic amenities, like shops and restaurants. Montagne, in particular, is less than a mile away and has three restaurants and an excellent bakery. Other larger towns are also easily accessible by car or even bicycle (which are generously provided for free by the host). The host, Marie is a most welcoming and friendly person and, despite limited English, is always willing to help and offer advice when required. As poor french speakers ourselves, we made use of translation apps and always managed to understand one another. Marie also gave us samples of her home made jam and eggs from her hens, for which she refused any payment. A truly caring host in every way.

Super bungalow avec tout ce qu’il faut. Extrêmement calme avec vue incroyable sur les vignes. Le gros plus, c’est les vélos pour aller à la boulangerie (en moins de 10min) ou jusqu’à Saint Emilion (30min). À recommander.
