Two story private chalet, two singles and one dbl, 4 people max. Turtle Cove Lodge offers a cool haven for our guests, set in lush palm tree gardens, only 10 minutes away from all the spectacular beaches of Tofo and Tofinho. Built in a striking blend of Mozambican, Mali and West African architecture, Turtle Cove exudes a charming, exotic and warm community atmosphere. Lounge by the pool, or enjoy fresh local cuisine in our restaurant. Daily yoga classes are offered in our dynamic yoga shala. Turtle Cove has many private areas to relax, to work away from home, read a book and enjoy. There is the sparkling swimming pool and patio space, the outdoor lounge and the stunning indoor open plan lounge and dining area which extends out to the garden and outdoor fire place.

Lovely little hut, good price/quality, recommended. The only issue to notice, while outside was pouring rain some drops went through the straw roof and landed on the bed throughout the night... But I have to admit that outside there was a storm! Also please be aware that there are no doors between the two rooms, just open stairs.

Tutle Cove was a convenient and very affordable one night stay stopover to our other accommodation booked in Tofinho area. Overall the stay was adequate, but the lodge felt a bit weathered and in need of a little TLC. A lot of mosquitos in the pool garden area and the pool very green with algae... Staff were friendly and the price very affordable.

Tofinho is ideally located near the surf break of Tofinho point. In a quiet area of Tofinho and just a quick drive/walk to main Tofo beach if you would like to experience the market or Tofo Beach.

Turtle Cove Lodge is set in the Tofinho area - 10 mins walk from the Tofinho beach and 20 min walk to Tofo beach.
Some roads are 4 x 4 only however, if you drive under the block there is a 2 x 4 accessible road that is bumpy but possible for a sudan vehicle.
There are taxis and vans available in the area.
