Will’s place is the kind of unique experience that keeps me coming back to Airbnb. He is an incredibly accommodating, generous, friendly host who opens up this unique piece of history in a fun and entertaining way. We took our whole family (aunts, uncles, cousins), hiked at Roman Nose State Park during the day, the murder mystery game and dinner at night, played disc golf, built a fire outside and roasted s’mores and generally had a ton of fun. The house is a true antique, so don’t expect the Ritz, but for those who appreciate such things, it was a super fun treat to stay in a Prohibition-era mansion especially with a host who obviously has a heart for fun and hospitality.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rook Mansion. we have a very large family, and we get together every few months, and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The murder Mystery night dinner was so much fun. We were given a Costa Rican meal that was simply delicious. We had 5 different families of cousins together, and most of the kids were teenagers, They all loved the Castle and had so much fun playing around the house. Our host Will was absolutely the best. He was so helpful and super responsive to anything we needed. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. The Kitchen was so big and beautiful and made cooking for our army super easy. We will definitely be staying at the Rook Mansion again,

Had an excellent weekend with friends and family. Will was a fabulous host and made things easy from check in to check out. The disc golf was a great way to spend a few hours and the amenities in the house definitely mean you and your family won’t be bored. The murder mystery was great way to spend an evening and would is set up for all ages to play while still being fun! We are already planning our next visit- this house will be on our rotation of regular trips friends.

Will was extremely helpful and communicated very well. The house was large and definitely part of the small town feel in area. This was a large house for our family of 14. The kitchen is amazing, huge and very well stocked.

Will was super friendly and communicative. Very large home and yard so great for two families with kids. Not as clean as we would have liked but still a good stay.
