If you are looking for a place solely based on budget, this is an ok place. However, it is obviously used for fairly low-end student housing and converted to a vacation rental during the break. It could be a cute little place with some renovations. The kitchen barely has cooking essentials and the cupboards/counter really need to be replaced. We arrived in the dark and had a hard time deciding which house/entrance it was. We only knew where the laundry was from another review. The main air conditioning didn't work well, and the portable unit in the main bedroom was positioned so that it looked like it was directly vented out. In reality, the window had to be opened and vent placed so that it didn't just blow back in the hot air. There were no instructions on that at all. The carpet on the main floor felt extremely matted and dirty. The living area-very small-only had an old loveseat with a slip cover. Remote batteries dead... next to a vacant lot full of weeds.

Home is located centrally for our needs. The home needs a really good deep clean and the odor is very musty and unpleasant. Kitchen is very old and small. Overall, this is not a comfortable home, rather, this is more of a place to sleep at night with uncomfortable beds. Communication with owner was timely. A motel next door was loud and there were several men sitting outside drinking every night.

Was not super nice. Musty smell. Had to walk through a garage full of junk. Seating area only large enough for 2 people. Not super clean. Bathrooms were not nice. No AC on main floor. Would not stay there again. The only good thing was the location close to town and the campus.

First impression: not bad, looks like the pictures. Oh, there's a reason why the kitchen wasn't in those pictures. Plywood cupboards, bad tile job. There is a Kurig, that's good. The stove needs a deep clean, but it does heat up. Good bedroom configuration. Two bathrooms. Weird unusable overhead spaces everywhere. The place looks like student housing. Free standing air-conditioning in main floor bedroom. Second impressions: who laid the tile in this place, a drunk? I wonder if same said drunk tried to also do the finish work. Oh, well. Time for a cup of coffee. Where are the coffee cups? THERE ARE NO COFFEE CUPS!!! Ah, partial package of Styrofoam cups left by previous renters. There are no drawers in the plywood kitchen, so everything is a search. Cupboards don't quite close and must be held shut to open another. The queen beds were okay, but the twin beds were cheap and uncomfortable. Some of them squeeked when lied on; not fitting for adults. There were microfiber polyester sheets on every bed, horrible for those of us who struggle with being cool enough to sleep. Thankfully, there was a cotton blanket in the closet, so the also polyester comforter wasn't used. No one will tell you, but the laundry is through the basement apartments door. Turn left and it's up a couple of stairs. In short, the apartment is within walking distance to SUU and its not expensive. There are beds to sleep quite a few, but not all are comfortable. Those are the good points.

We stayed here for the walkability to the Shakespeare festival. Otherwise we would have left upon arrival. This place is a college rental managed by a second party. Basically the students dumped their garbage outside the entrance and left. Positives: location Clean sheets and towels TV Comfortable beds Ceiling fans Cons during our stay: No aircon on main level- they bought a portable unit the second day to resolve this. Kitchen lacking any basics No microwave safe dishes No coffee mugs No salt / pepper Ants were a problem Kitchen was not clean Carpets were not clean Renovations are needed We gave feedback to our host about the poor presentation and management so hopefully changes have occurred. He did offer a partial refund for our inconvenience which was appreciated.
