Graeme is a great host. He gave us very good instructions, how to find the place (since it‘s of course a bit hidden), was there waiting for us when we arrived to show us everything and gave us some great tips about what to see in the area. On top of that Graeme is super nice an welcoming. The scenery at the lodge is very beautiful and the estate very well kept. We had a great stay!
Basic accommodation, nice to share a kichen and meet people. Bathrooms are due for an update soon and would greatly benefit from it.
Wonderful views, very friendly hosts, very clean
We absolutely loved our stay at Graeme’s, it was our favourite place during our NC500 trip. Graeme was great, warm, welcoming, did what he could to make our stay as best as possible. He also has good knowledge of the local area. The facilities are great, we made use of the kitchen, fire pit and outdoor area. Due to the communal spaces, there was a real sense of community here and it was lovely to meet new people. The view of the surroundings is what makes this place so special. The views are breathtaking and the photos just don’t do it justice. On top of this, everything was clean and I think the value for money is great, I highly recommend Graeme’s place, thank you for such a lovely stay!

I love to travel and experience trails in the countryside that give you a feeling of the land. I think Patagonia has been my favourite place so far to hike. I also love soaking in the atmosphere of different cities through its food and general day to day life. Wandering around with no real plan usually gives me a great feel of the place. I've guided in Scotland for nearly 20 years, taking groups across the highlands to Skye, Orkney and the Western Isles with plenty of hikes along the way. I can't wait to recommend places to like minded travellers coming to Scotland to help them see the wee secrets and provide the famous "highland hospitality".
