Just Renovated!!! Be our guests in our 2 bedroom retreat just minutes from Cornell's central campus. Close to East Hill Plaza. Our space is family friendly. Located on a dead end private road, you'll be able to take a walk in the woods, play in the park nearby, or relax in our hammocks with a good book. We take pride in making sure our beds and linens are super comfy and that everything is very clean. All new furnishings, amenities and brand new kitchen are sure to make your stay spectacular! This space is located in the lower level of a neighborhood home. It walks out to a private backyard. Enjoy the back patio as you relax after a long hike or in apartment massage (can be set up by local message therapist) It is a private apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a nice a bathroom with stand-up shower and in floor radiant heat, a brand new kitchen, dining area, and living room. Since this is a walk-out apartment we ask you to respect the shared outdoor space with our upstairs tenants. The cement patio is your private space to enjoy. This is a private residential neighborhood and a duplex house so we do ask that you limit your noise after 10 pm and before 8 am. The entrance to our apartment is accessible by walking on a slight downward slope to the backside of our house. There is a stone pathway that leads from the driveway to the apartment entrance. There are a few steps. The path is lit at night as well. Our house is powered by Solar panels and inside you'll have a whole house water filtration system and whole-house air filtration system. We clean with non-toxic cleaners and wash our linens with fragrance-free soap. This is a private residential neighborhood and a duplex house so we do ask that you limit your noise after 10pm and before 8am. The entire house is available for rent if you have a bigger group coming. All together the house can sleep 12 and has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms

We loved our stay at this peaceful home. Our hosts were super helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. There was a small issue with the bathroom which they addressed immediately and fixed and checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. The beds were incredible quiet dark room-I slept 9 hours one night! Kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. The park just past the woods behind the house was a lovely surprise. We had fun playing soccer in the huge field after dinner. Relaxing patio area-I even took a nap out there. Overall a great location (super close to great dining and lots of parks and trails) and super kind hosts-we would love to hang with them sometime!

The place was exactly as listed. Easy check in, responsive host, perfect location. There’s a big back yard and a playground right nearby which was amazing for our toddler. Jenna went out of her way to bring us a high chair and tea kettle. Thanks for everything! We had a wonderful time exploring Ithaca.

Quiet dead end road just minutes to Cornell's campus and downtown Ithaca. Our road had no streetlights so it will be dark at night. Keep in mind that you will have to walk on a slight downward slope into our backyard on a stone path with a few steps to get to the entrance of the apartment. It is lit at night. Close to East Hill plaza, our home is a serene retreat away from the commotion of campus. The backyard has a patio, outdoor table and chairs. The home backs up to a town park with hiking trails, playground, basketball courts, and more. Just a short walk to the TCAT bus #51 which runs daily every hour. The bus stop is on the road behind our house and can either be reached by walking through the park, or walking on the road around the block. If you prefer we have parking spots for 2 cars or are an easy Uber/Lyft ride from anywhere in Ithaca. We are close to everything, but walking to Cornell would take well over an hour, so expect to either bring your car, RideShare or use public transportation while here.

Or if you prefer we have plenty of parking spots or are an easy Uber/Lyft ride from anywhere in Ithaca. We are nearby to East Ithaca Rec Trail: a walking trail that is paved and goes all the way to Cornell campus, or you could bring your bikes and bike anywhere you need to. We are close to everything, but walking to Cornell would take well over an hour, so expect to either bring your car, RideShare or use public transportation while here.

Hello and welcome to my airbnb host profile. I have been running a short term rental, along with my husband Isaac of 17 years, since 2017. It has been the most enjoyable experience. I am mother of 3 adorable children and we live in Ithaca NY. My family and I love to travel, meet people, and explore new cultures. Our family loves to explore all the Finger Lakes have to offer and enjoys renting our homes to people from around the world. We are happy to share all of our interesting facts, favorite hikes, and amazing restaurants with you during your visit here. Both Isaac and I both grew up with people renting rooms and spaces in our homes from all corners of the world. And as soon as we got married we knew this was part of what we wanted to do. Isaac is an educator, handyman, musician, and theologian. I am an artist, home-school mom, and a certified health coach. Together we own a property management company where we specialize in short term vacation rentals for the Finger Lakes Region. We mentor property owners on how to start their own vacation rental. We enjoy helping them along the way in every detail imaginable from start up to daily maintaining of the house.
