We really enjoyed our stay. The bedding is comfortable, with rooms and entertainment area overlooking the ocean. There is beautiful view, wooded balcony, full-length pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean with quick access to the beach. The home is ideal for entertaining or just relaxing with the family. It is also near to restaurants and shops walking distance away, so all in all a perfect family getaway.

We rented almost a dozen different houses on Robberg. This is by far the best for us. Best location, best floor plan for our needs (we are 2 adults + 1 child, and some dogs), a very nice deck, hot jaccuzi (and I mean hot), best views, large lounge and kitchen, ample bedrooms. The bedrooms are a bit smelly, possibly due to the wall to wall carpet (the vaccuum didn't work when we were there last, we have been there twice). This is an issue on rainy days and cold nights when you keep doors closed. The climate impacts this place a lot. Humid nights leave their mark outside more than we found further down on Robberg, so condensation is a small issue. The only real downside is, and it is a big one, the terrible bathrooms. Shower fitting too low so you have to bend down, cheapest plastic handshower (any builders warehouse got better), very dim lights, toilet refills so slowly you better plan bathrooms visits right (cannot brush the loo and flush again within a decent time span), battered toilet brushes. You should consider to bring your own lights for shaving etc. On a side note, if you are coming with more than 3 (or 4 or 6) people, there is plenty of furniture (loungers, couches, chairs), and the kitchen is pretty big. Two ovens, the larger one is broken. The three bedrooms sleep 2 each, and there is a converted garage, but I personally wouldn't flood that single floor cottage with that many people. But it is a great place. If you don't mind the bathrooms, this is the best choice in the best area of Plett.

We stayed for a single night and entertained a few guests on the balcony. There are stunning views across Robberg Beach and a gate that offers a direct walkway to the beach. The house is perfect for a family getaway or a holiday with friends. Patricia, who works as a domestic helper, is also extremely helpful.
