Probably wouldn't stay here again if I had to, but Its a decent deal for the area. The house is divided into 3 sections, a lower, a rear, and the main section. This room is in the main section and is shared by 3 other roommates. There is one dirty kitchen, a washer, and a dryer that doesn't dry unless you do a ritual. The "Private" bathroom, is actually outside of your room and accessible by every other patron, should they want to enter your personal space. At least Lixin is nice, responsive, and easy to work with. There's also lots of parking.

A quality place. Lixin keeps it very clean, washes sheets and towels right after guests leave. As a host he is pleasant and I trust him to ameliorate situations that may arise. Highly recommend him as a landlord. Lixin has many apartments in area so he is away most times. On a personal note Lixin seems like an interesting, practical, business oriented person. Ge has interesting people staying there. Most guests were erudites, and studied their subjects in depths in local university or archive. Price is a bit steep in my opinion, for longer stays particularly. Make arrangements for travel. Place is quite distant from food, and metro. C8 bus which goes to M college park is ok (bus stop is .4miles away), R2 (goes to M fort totten)seemed to be very crowded and slow. Keep that in mind when planning to travel. Archives are the only thing that’s close. It worked well for me, but I had to use lyft to go places or rely on my friends in area to shop and get to dc.
