Fun place to stay. We really enjoyed playing in the River. Very pretty land to play on. William was super responsive when we needed something. We even extended our stay for another day. Our kids and pets enjoyed the trip as well.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Comfort. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We loved the rocking chairs on the porch and the accessibility to the creek. If it had been warmer we would’ve enjoyed the pool as well. The beds were comfortable and we liked the availability of extra pillows. An extra blanket or two would have been a nice addition to curl up with on the couch. Appreciated the coffee and amenities in kitchen as well.

Fantastic, private, and peaceful! We had a wonderful experience, very serene and the house was clean and very well kept. Would highly recommend!!

Stayed for 4 days/3 nights with 4 adults and 2 children (1 and 3). Overall, very pleased with the home and the location. The private lake access can't be beat. The wrap-around porch was lovely. We all fit comfortably in the home. We would definitely stay again. That said, here are some areas that could be improved: - The secondary bathroom shower situation was very uncomfortable. It's a handicap-accessible shower, and the shower head does not properly attach to the mounted holder, so you have to hold the shower head in one hand while trying to cleanse yourself with the other. Hopefully, the owner fixes this so it isn't an issue for future guests. - Adding to the unpleasant showering experience, I found two long blonde hairs in my towel while drying myself. No one in our party is blonde. This happened twice, which is why I gave 4 stars on cleanliness. Note: I am a bit of a clean freak. No one else in our party was bothered by the cleanliness. - The kitchen is pretty minimal, but we expected this, as it was noted in the property description. Just something to be aware of: it's more of a kitchenette. - Other items that I'm sure are beyond the owner's control, but are good to know beforehand: you can hear some interstate traffic noise, so it's not exactly a secluded nature experience, though coming from Houston, was still super peaceful. The pool area is a bit dated, but our kids loved it nonetheless. Otherwise, the stay was quite enjoyable and we would come back. The private lake access was the best part, and because there's a little waterfall, you can't hear the traffic there. :)
