A Hidden Haven.. I couldn’t be happier with my discovery of this place in Plaridel. A perfect getaway gift for my sister & her family. Everything about the cottage has character, and details were carefully selected and put together to create calmness and serenity. Spotlessly clean and fresh throughout the property. With the added benefit of hassle-free communication. We ended up renting the whole place for our stay because we loved it so much, we didn't want anyone disturbing our peaceful vacation. My 9 year old niece had so much fun playing with the pets, and learned so much about nature. Thank you, Sir Noel Fajardo & Pastor, who had been so attentive with all our needs. We will see you again. Noel's place, while tucked in a gated subdivision in Plaridel, Bulacan, resembles to that of a rest house feel. It has a 'bahay kubo' that is perched on a constructed tree top. There's actually a mini hanging bridge leading to the bahay kubo which is a good spot for photo ops. The place is complete with cooking utensils - has a fridge (though it was quite full at the time we couldn't fit in much of our leftover foods) and a good variety of pots and pans. The room that we stayed in is the family room which can house 2 adults and 2 children although sadly, this wasn't clearly stated in the property information. The room is very neat and relaxing - there's a sala room and bedroom with a big bed and a pull out one. The place's contact person, Pastor Romil is highly accommodating to our queries and needs. He is very polite and trustworthy. Some of the issues I had with the room given to us is that it's non airconditioned - two fans were given to us though good thing the weather that day was fair. The comfort room has no bidet (can't imagine a fully functioning house wo a bidet!), the toilet has no flush and that the water supply by day time becomes weak in pressure. Overall, the place is good for family stay or couples. If you are coming in with friends, this might not be the place as they do require utter silence :) btw, this place is also non smoking and does not permit alcohol drinks to be brought inside the house. I recommend that prior to booking, clarify things with the owner as this place offers about 3 or 4 rooms (depending on your headcount) in 1 house.
