The Enchantment of a Lighthouse Retreat: The lighthouse wasn't just furnished to a high standard, it is a masterpiece in motion. Each floor offered a unique perspective, transforming the climb into a visual adventure. Stepping inside, we were greeted by homely and a welcoming kitchen and living space. The kids were equally enthralled by the lighthouse experience, and very excited to have their very own cosy floor - their own haven within this nautical tower. As a family of six (four adults and two children), we found the location to be idyllic. The beach was just a stone's throw away. The evenings offered an unparalleled experience. We enjoyed sipping some champagne, admiring the panoramic views and later listening to the wind and storm late into the evening. It was an unforgettable and magical accommodation.

This place was an amazing experience. The view was amazing, you could see seal swimming in the sea with binoculars. There was good space between two rooms downstairs and having two bathrooms is great for a large family group.

The lighthouse was an amazing place to stay to celebrate a special birthday. Loved the uniqueness of it and it was great being so close to the beach. Lovely area for walking. It was really well equipped and very clean. The stairs to the lantern room and bedroom were interesting! The views from the lantern room were fab. Highly recommend.

The Lighthouse is a total winner. Thank you Julian for sharing your beautiful home with us. There were so many different spaces to hang out in and the kids loved exploring. Perfect for NYE as we could see the local fireworks from the lookout. We loved walking down to the sand dunes and beach - the seals were a great surprise. Then back to sit in front of the fire, via the local pub of course. Loved every minute.

The location, facilities and cleanliness of the Lighthouse are second to none. All communications with Julian and Coleen were answered quickly and informatively. The warning about the stairs should be taken seriously as the top flight are a challenge and need care but the view from the top is stunning. The local seal population was a huge surprise and really topped an excellent stay. Many thanks Julian.
