This place is in Auroville Village only 15 min ride away from White Town. I would recommend anyone to stay here and visit other places nearby, in the end when you'll come back to the house of Mr. Selvaraj You'll feel at home. The place is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a peaceful sitting area, the house is traditionally built with beautiful detailings, if you are someone who prefers a peaceful environment, with nature surrounding, you must book your stay here, without any doubt. This place is worth every single penny.

One of the best property I have visited on Airbnb. The house is old school with lot of greenery around and situated in quiet place. In my opinion top floor room are the best with private gallery attached bathrooms. Host was kind enough to change our room to top floor.

Selvaraj's guest house is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for solitude, and a peaceful and quiet time. The rooms are neat, clean and charmingly furnished. The property itself is a delight, an old style house with a mini oasis in the central courtyard and many, many trees all around the property. I spotted several species of birds and butterflies just sitting on the terrace! The location is great too, with a lot of the auroville landmarks within a 15 minute ride and the beach just 10 minutes away.

Peaceful, off-beat stay! Perfect if you want to experience slow life, away from all the hustle-bustle of the city. We had our own private room with a small utility kitchen and a chill spot outside the room with a garden view. We found the host very warm and welcoming, soft-spoken and, is very helpful. The location is quite accessible, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat, chill and work from. We rented a scooter from a nearby place, which made it easy for us to commute in and around Auroville.

Choose this place only if you don’t mind a simple stay close to nature. This place is a little too close to nature for my taste. As soon as I entered the room, I saw a frog leap off the bed. There were frogs jumping around the bathroom as well. We were given a room disconnected to the main house with a private little space to sit out. But the path leading to the room was through an overgrown garden which can be scary since there are a lot of snakes in Auroville. Finding the place was a task since you have to enter untitled gate to get here, especially at night without any lights. The host could be more communicative about the location before hand and other basic offerings. All in all, I would say the place has low value for money.
