Great location and beautiful home! We were able to easily walk to restaurants, a beach, a small market and the bus stop. Vittorio helped arrange private transfers to and from the airport. The refrigerator was stocked with a variety of drinks and there were supplies in the beautiful large kitchen to make a simple pasta dinner. Praiano was a perfect location. Our first choice of where to stay will always be Villa Sovarstante il mare if we are ever lucky enough to return to the Amalfi coast.

Vittorio and his Uncle met us when we arrived. His beautiful house in Praiano sits on the side of a cliff overlooking the stunning view of the water. While Vittorio carried our luggage down the 60+ steps, his uncle showed us the amazing house. He reviewed everything in the kitchen and gave us suggestions of where to eat. Vittorio also had various bus schedules, explained the differences, and had 4 bus tickets to Sorrento already purchased for us. We also took advantage of Vittorio's culinary skills and he prepared a delicious four-course meal complete with fresh fish and squid caught that morning and ingredients from his garden. We have personally stayed in other rentals (VRBO, Air B&B) and this house and Host have been the best by far!!!

What a beautiful home and town! Vittorio’s place was perfect for us. The views are breathtaking! We spent much time on the glorious terrace — breakfasts, made dinner one night and stayed in, wine etc around the ample table, played cards. The house is very nicely furnished and kitchen well equipped. Absolutely wonderful being there together, listening to the waves below and relaxing. Trattoria da Armandino in the cove below is a delight. Also swimming in the cove when the sea is calm. We have no problem with stairs, but guests should expect a short descent down from the street and longer one to cove — but that’s part of the charm of the coast here. Praiano is lovely! We look forward to staying with Vittorio again!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The home and location are beautiful! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend choosing this home and host if you are looking for the perfect holiday. Praiano is a great base for your Amalfi coast holiday. Close bus stop for trips up and down the coast, including the internal local Praiano bus. Being a short walk to the Marina de Praia is also a huge plus. You’ll find great restaurants as well as excursion companies there. Thank you for helping to make my dream vacation a reality!!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Raffaele’s place. It was a wonderful location, and perfect for our group of 6 adults. We adored the location and were able to cook in the large kitchen & dine on the large terrace. It is a wonderful location, peaceful with beautiful views, quiet but walking distance to everything including restaurants and the beach. Raffaele and his nephew Vittorio were so accommodating. They met us from the hire car, carried our (large) bags down to the property & also were available to help carry our bags to the car when we left. They were available at all times for recommendations and to clear any rubbish away. Raffaele quietly and respectfully called in each day to make sure everything was ok and to remove rubbish without making it obvious he called in. Vittorio was open to any requests. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and for a trip of a lifetime to have stayed in such a beautiful place. We highly recommend our hosts and their home!
