Bill and Christina’s place is one of the nicest AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, private, peaceful, and comfortable, it’s just the right size for a couples get-away. The hosts were very helpful with information on the area and provided additional supplies halfway through our stay. The Newburyport area is fun and has lots to do, and Plum Island is now one of my favorite places in the world. If Bill and Christine’s place is one of your options, don’t hesitate—book it.

We so enjoyed our stay at Parker River Guesthouse! The location is perfect, you are just a short drive down to Newburyport but the idyllic setting of the property makes you feel like you are a million miles away. The cottage is so well decorated and has everything you need for a couple. The attention to detail in the design and décor are outstanding! The openness of the space and all the windows are wonderful for the natural light and views of the property. The kitchen was great, the bed was comfortable and there is plenty of storage space for your things with the custom built-ins! We enjoyed having our morning tea and coffee down on the dock and loved sitting in the sun porch as well! Sunsets on the dock on the Parker River were also stunning! Christina and Bill were wonderful hosts and answered any questions we had quickly. We also loved the sweet and friendly pup Jake! We cannot wait to go back!

The best way to describe Bill & Christina's place is idyllic. It is literally right on the Parker River and they have a beautifully maintained private dock. We hung out on the dock for several hours at a day at times, and took the canoes our and swam in the river a bunch too. The house itself has everything you need for a couple -- the bed is comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for clothes and whatever else you travel with. The kitchen was simple but super functional and Bill & Christina left us a bottle of wine which was so sweet. The house was supremely clean when we arrived and exactly as advertised. Additionally, the location is fantastic. The house itself feels remote, but we were just a 10 minute drive from Newburyport where there were tons of good restaurants and generally a very cute and quaint downtown. We were also 10-15 minutes away from Plum Island where we went to the beach, Sandy Point National Reserve, and the Parker Wildlife National Reserve multiple times throughout the week. Finally, Bill & Christina were always accessible if we had questions -- they texted us as we arrived to make sure we were all set and then answered our texts within minutes whenever we reached out to ask something. We'll definitely be back!
