Booking Ukuy's place was a jackpot specifically this corner suite as we have a full view of the sea and batanes mountains compared to other airbnb located in the city town with no view. The room is clean when we checked in - fresh white sheets/blankets and towel are provided, but what i love the most is how Ate (the overall careraker/receptionist) of Ukuy's place was very accommodating, from serving us breakfast to helping us with our concerns a big 5 star for her. Also thanks Ms. Kristine for the assistance in booking the place and tour.

Ukuy's Place is a gem on a fairly undeveloped island of Batanes-- It is clean, with spare and comfortable rooms, and has friendly helpful staff with tasty Filipino breakfasts. It sits on top of a hill, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean to the East and North China Sea to the west. The air is fresh and there are many pastoral walks, amidst the caribao and local farms. It is a few miles (and a motor tricycle ride) from Basco, so there is just one restaurant nearby (Fundacion), which is quite good, for lunch and dinner. Kristine was a superb host, who helped us at every step with early check-in, ground transport, tours, and food recommendations.

The place is amazing! You'll get to see the view of Mt. Iraya, the mountains, hills and seas. The view is scenic and fantastic! Ms. Grace is super nice and hospitable. All requests were provided on a timely manner. She is one of the reason why I'd rate our stay EXCELLENT! Thank you so much Ms. Grace! My mom and lola enjoyed their stay at Ukuy's Place Bed and Breakfast! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It was my family’s first time in Batanes and our experience staying at Ukuy’s place is nothing short of amazing! Everyone was so nice and so helpful. Hospitality comes naturally to the Ivatans and during our stay, we felt like we were home away from home. The view from our room was breathtaking! We tried to spend as much time as possible outside. Ms. Grace is so accommodating and Kristine is so responsive to any inquiries we had. They were so helpful with assisting us with our tricycle needs Also, the tours they recommended were wonderful! The guide was cheerful, very knowledgeable, and proud of his heritage. We learned so many things about the island and saw so many amazing places! My family is already planning a trip again next year and you better believe, we are staying at Ukuy’s place again! Thank you so much for letting us stay and for giving us such a memorable trip.
