Airebroc Byre is only 200m from Uig Sands, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Hebrides. It is in the coastal village of Crowlista, with views over the Uig Sands and Harris hills. There are beautiful walks around the bay and along the coastline. Originally a stable and loom shed, the Byre is renovated with a wood clad interior, has beds that can be superkingsize or twin, a wood burning stove and outdoor table and benches. It's a great retreat for a couple, or small family. The byre has 2 double bedrooms and an additional single bed in the open space between the 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has space and a lovely view. It is ideal for a couple or a family with 2 or 3 children: the bedrooms can be made up as twin bedrooms or as superkingsize doubles. The second bedroom, whilst bright and light, has 2 velux windows but does not have an end window. The bathroom is downstairs, and has a bath with shower over the bath. The kitchen has a combination oven and gas hob. Kindling and coal is supplied for the woodburning stove, and there are electric wall-heaters. Because of the sloping wood cladceilings in the bedrooms, the beds are set quite low, and the fact that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms makes the byre less suitable for elderly or disabled people.
