Your Cottage of Contentment offers a lakefront, lower level suite. The rooms are simple and cozy-no steps. A kitchenette with stand alone Freezer, matching Refrigerator, George Foreman, Pizza Oven, stirfry, Microwave etc ( no stove). The neighborhood is quiet. Enjoy your waterfront sunrise peeking through Oak trees. The lake front apartment has its own entrance, drive right down to your front door, or 200’ of roadside parking. It's definitely great to relax and have fun, enjoy yourself !! Close to everything! Spirit Lake and Okoboji are minutes away. This lakefront suite offers quick minutes to restaurants, events, and lake activities. P. S. Prize catching fish!

Wonderful cozy cottage. Jeannie was a very gracious and friendly host. She knows the area well. We will definitely stay the next time we’re in Iowa.
2nd time we have stayed here and I'm sure there will be more visits in the future. Right off the water and I don't think you can find a better spot to relax. The host and her guard dog are like family. Both extremely nice! See You in 2024!
The cottage was just what we were looking for and the host Jeannie made us feel right at home. Thank you Jeannie for a great experience! If we’re ever up that way again, this will be our 1st choice.
My friend and I enjoyed our weekend get-a-way. Jeannie was very easy to communicate with and added a few personal touches (i.e. coffee/rolls one morning and flowers another.) She greeted us without being intrusive, yet did not interfere with our privacy. The space was as expected, small, yet cozy. Her cleaning person, DeeDee, kept the place very neat. I thought my allergies would flare up, but all was good. I loved my morning sunrise coffee on the back patio or down by the lake. This was my first experience at an Airbnb and I will definitely feel confident booking in the future. We would not hesitate to book here again in the future.

The cottage is located right on the Narrows, just steps to the water, with ample trees, flowers, and private space. New in 2022 the ‘Narrows Preserve’ directly across lake.
