Our family traveled from our if town for our grandma's funeral, so it was a last minute reservation. Matthew's home was a perfect spot to crash for the night after a long drive. There was plenty of space for the kids to play, lots of clean bathrooms, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Host was very responsive with any questions, and we would 100% recommend this place for families. The setting was peaceful, we enjoyed the outdoor fire for a few minutes, as the weather was usually mild, and the kids played in the yard. Thank you for accepting our reservation and hosting such a peaceful place!

Host lacks empathy. My daughter went to the hospital the day after I made the reservation and I tried to cancel. They said no, not even partial. There was a swing for babies with mold all over. There’s bugs that appear out of nowhere in the third floor. The bedroom with four single beds doesn’t have heater or AC. Kitchen has a refrigerator with paper towels where the ice comes off so no ice or water comes out of the refrigerator. There’s only (4) glasses, very small. Kitchen utensils are really dirty. We founded a pot with burnt food and rice 🙃. Hand rails are unsafe, they move like side to side so you can’t really rely on them. Last but not least, we went in two cars. One day we left in both cars but my MIL stayed inside the house, people came inside without our authorization, I believe they thought no one was there, they started moving things around, they were speaking and then they left. We don’t know if they took something. I don’t understand the good reviews at all.
