Voss is fantastic for a range of activities, whether it's skiing in the winter or kayaking in the summer. It' s also a good place to base yourself from to visit the different fjords - Hardanger-, Næroy- og Sognefjord. Its a scenic drive into town from the apartment where you can enjoy the local culture or escape back home to chill and relax.
Most people remark on how easy it is to experience a wide variety of attractions from Voss. Fjords, Hardangervidda, mountains, Bergen city life, small towns, historic landmarks, the list goes on. Its a very laid back town and has a vibrant mix of cultures with a strong norwegian heritage mixed with internationals who have come to live in Voss - best known for extreme sports.

There is a bus stop just across the road and a train stop a 3 minute drive away (Kløve) although we recommend that you come by car. Of course if you are a keen biker then the roads are good for biking on into town or to other local destinations.
