This is a great location with easy walkable access to Kailua-Kona. We were able to walk to a luau right on the water from there in 10 minutes. The balcony was the perfect place to have a drink and watch sunsets. If you want to go to the beach, there are plenty of beach items to use. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Big Island.

Cannot say enough about this place! I’ve stayed all over the world and have never had a more responsive and helpful host! Ragnhild gave us local recommendations, answered questions quickly, and gave us a little later check out. The house is very large and comfortable, and the sunsets from the huge deck are epic!

The place was super cozy, and just what we needed. It also is stocked with lots of nice things like sunblock, towels, and a good amount of dishes. we thought the location was excellent and proximal to a lot of things to do. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Ragnhild's property is in pristine condition and it is in the perfect location! Upon arrival, you walk up to a stunning view and an expansive space. The layout is perfect such that each room is its private oasis and you can come together in the common spaces. The property is also in walking distance to the main Kona strip, which makes it so convenient. To top it off, Ragnhild is so responsive and kind. If you're thinking of staying here, do it! It truly makes for the perfect Kona getaway.

So much to say about this wonderful home. We arrived a bit early and I reached out to see about possibly getting in early and Ragnhild explained that they were still cleaning. Rather than rush the job they continued to take their time which we absolutely appreciated. Upon getting into the unit (10 minutes early) we felt right at home. It was immaculately clean and the views were beautiful from the Lanai. The beds are comfortable, the showers work well, and there is a full table on the Lanai for outdoor meals which was a great option for us. The unit, as explained in the description, is all upstairs so you do need to be able to climb up and down stairs (not a problem for our group). Any time I had a question she promptly responded. Every communication with her was gracious and friendly from check in to check out. We would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo!
