I was expecting a basic hikers accommodation and was super happy to find a little more than that. The bathroom is like a hotel, very clean with hot water and good pressure ( I didn't find this in many places in Armenia), the bed was comfortable and the linen spot clean and white although not ironed but little did I care. I didn't have to use my sleeping bag and this was a welcome change in my hiking trip. I felt clean after many days! I wish I had booked the Attic which is very big but made sense for more people. I loved the food and the interaction with the cook, thank you Bavo! My guide, who I booked from the Gomkers, was super nice, his english was excellent and made me fall in love with Armenia. Ask for Ashot if you book one of their tours. I did the Gomk-Martiros trail which was a bit easy for my taste but with stunning mountain views. Lilit is a wonderful host and her english is very good. Only issue I can think of was the wifi. I was on Beeline and couldn't connect to the internet at all. Apparently, only MTS is working in this village, so take MTS prepaid sim card if you want to have internet and MTS has the best coverage in Armenia anyway at same prices as Beeline. Looking forward to go back to the Gomkers and live like a local (but sleep and eat like a king hehehe!)
