I am a repeat visitor for a number of reasons. First, I love old homes and this is a jewel. I always tell myself if I won the lottery, I’d make an offer for this place. :-) It’s also 10 minutes up the road from my friends in Norwich, and the full kitchen makes it easy for me to fend for myself (the super Walmart is 10 minutes away in Lisbon). I usually stay in the Pearl Room but this time I stayed in the master suite and I am glad I did, because a soak in the giant tub was the perfect way to wind up the weekend. Jodi is also a great host. She made sure of my safety during a recent storm that knocked the power out and also allowed me to book an extra night so I didn’t have to drive back in that hellacious rain. What I paid for the room for four nights is the equivalent of one night in a fancy boutique hotel. The place is also decorated beautifully for the holidays, and seeing all the Rankin-Bass ornaments warms my GenX soul!

This place was a dream! And such an amazing deal! It waa as reviewers said...stepping back in time with modern conveniences! Jodi checked on us and made sure we were good! Loves this stay!
