Das Haus hält alles, was die Fotos versprechen, auch für Nicht-Tennisspieler (wir aber sind Tennisspieler und auch die Tennisplätze waren gut und deutlich vor unserer Reise hergerichtet. Gastgeber Davor, wie in vorherigen Berichten beschrieben, äußerst bemüht und persönlich, aber nicht invasiv. Brachte mehrfach aus dem eigenen Garten Obst oder eigenen Schinken, hatte gerissene Saiten auf Schlägern innerhalb kürzester Zeit "bei einem Freund" bespannt und zurückgebracht zu Freundschaftspreis usw. Man hat das Gefühl, alles, was man irgendwie wünscht, da konnte er helfen. Bei kleinen Problemchen mit TV oder Küchen- oder Badgeräten war er sofort ansprechbar und brachte stets sofort einen "Spezialisten" mit (Sohn, Freund), die sich sehr persönlich umgehend kümmerten. Insgesamt ein perfekter, sehr liebenswürdiger, engagierter Gastgeber, bei dem man sich bestens aufgehoben fühlt.

We've had a lovely stay here. Davor is a lovely kind host. He gave us produce from his garden and welcomed us with food and drinks. He was never intrusive just available if needed. The pool and tennis courts were great for our family with teens. The beds were very comfy and air con in 2 of the 3 bedrooms welcome. Lovely shaded areas to sit. Well situated for visits to Krka, Split, Trogir and Sibenik. We enjoyed walking above the Cicola Gorge(follow signs to Sibenik zipline) and did a lovely walk from watermill in Drnis up to the fort. Drnis is a quiet town with all the facilities you need for shopping. Thank you so much Davor for a wonderful week in your villa!

Davor war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, war sehr zuverlässig und immer erreichbar. Er hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir einen tollen Aufenthalt haben! Er hat uns frische Eier, Gemüse aus dem Garten und frische Dorade gebracht. Die Unterkunft entspricht exakt den Bildern. Es war sauber, aber nicht blitzblank. Die Größe der Zimmer war ausreichend, der Tennisplatz war auch ein Highlight. Da die Unterkunft am Stadtrand ist, dient der Pool für die Wespen als Wasserquelle. Man hat von 9:00 bis ca. 17 Uhr viele Wespen. Sie tuen nichts, dennoch war das nervig. Davor hat jedoch alles gegeben, dass sie verschwinden, aber das ist nunmal die Natur, verschwunden sind sie nicht! Im großen und ganzen hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub.

Just returned after staying a week at Davor’s place. Had a great time enjoying the private pool and the tennis court. Plenty of great things to say about Davor as a host. Even though we arrived in the night, he stayed up and welcomed us upon arrival. He gave a thorough introduction to his home and had even arranged a plate of local ham and cheese and some bread for us. He also offered to give us a tour of the city the following day. The home itself is great and has everything you need for a holiday. Plenty of space, both inside and outside. Everything worked as expected. Pool area has some great sun loungers. No parasol, but plenty of areas with shade. Any downsides? The city itself, Drnis, is for locals, meaning that there’s plenty of supermarkets, but not much else. For restaurants etc., Sibenik is an half hour drive away. Overall, a great base for relaxing and sightseeing the Dalmatian area.

We had a wonderful stay here for a month in April. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. Everything was clean and fresh, and the kitchen was well-equipped. However, the best part of our stay was our host, Davor. He is an exceptional person who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Davor checked us in and gave us a small introductory tour of the town, showing us the best places to find local delicacies like specialty Drnis prosciutto, bakeries, and cafes. He recommended great restaurants and sights to see. He even surprised us with fresh eggs from his chickens and vegetables from his garden several times throughout our stay. Davor was incredibly helpful and kind, even assisting us with receiving packages at the post office. His warm hospitality made us feel like we had a local friend. Drnis is a very pleasant and safe town with friendly people. It is an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions like Krka Park
