It was wonderful to stay in the cozy yurt during a snowstorm this last weekend. The wood burning stove kept the yurt warm during the night. Roma and Russell were very responsive to my booking.

I loved this yurt! I want to come back! The woodstove kept it warm and the bed is gigantic. My little prius had no trouble making it up the driveway (never a guarantee in vermont). Just perfect!

I booked Russell & Roma's place in the wee hours on same day of check-in. As a superhost myself, I know what a hassle that can be. Then, I had an unepexected issue with a cartop tent I'd purchased the day before. So I had to spend many unexpected hours having it fixed in the pouring rain before I could leave MA for Vermont. The hosts were very gracious about my late arrival, and had even started a fire for me. I was incredibly grateful for this as I was freezing, in damp clothes and completely exhausted by the time I arrived after dark. The yurt was delightful. Cozier than I would have thought possible. Plenty of outlets, lamps, table with chairs, easy-chair, dresser, fridge, kitchen implements, a coffeemaker and coffee and a water tank. The bed was a dream. Between the rain and the raging river (which one cannot see even in the light) the evening sounds were utterly mesmerizing to fall asleep to. I would definitely stay here again. My 7-lb chihuahua agrees!

It was my first time staying in a yurt and I love it. It’s very lovely. The wood stove is the best and really fun trying to keep the fire going. GPS sent to a different route that Russel described and my car got stuck with snow. Russel was very kind and come rescue me. I’d def come back to stay here again
