The neighborhood where the Airbnb was located appeared decent. You park on the back side of the house and enter through the garage. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of cat urine. I did ask the owner, but I'm guessing she didn't hear me since she didn't answer. I texted her about it and I ended up buying a candle and room freshners to dull the smell. The owner stated she had no idea how that happened, but I did happen to hear a cat meowing from her home. As for the place itself, it looks a little antiquated, but it can really be quaint. I just feel it needs a little touch up. It is a spacious studio with a small refrigerator and microwave. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. For the most part, the host was quick to respond to texts. The studio is attached to her home, so you will hear occasional movement from there and will hear garage sounds when they're leaving. but nothing drastic. The downside was the urine smell.

Very nice location, close to UNCC, IKEA and uptown. Place is a good place to crash for a night or two.

Overall, a disappointment. had to use my phone flashlight to read anything. Low wattage light bulbs. Host noted bulb missing on fan/light. Heat vent faced top of dresser. Room was cold.
