I can’t say enough. From the responsiveness of the hosts to the incredible home that made us feel…”AT HOME”! The location was great, the hosts were responsive and incredibly helpful and accommodating, when we encountered an obstacle with the days we selected for the rental (and the fact that they did not coincide with the availability of the bio-bay tours), Mireya and Carol were both helpful in identifying a viable solution. There is a small beach walking distance from the house but the real deal beaches (Caracas and Chivas) were 10-20 minutes away by car. The roosters reminded us every morning that adventures await and the beautiful horses (EVERYWHERE) were such a beautiful sight and experience. Mireya and Carol were great about providing recommendations and we had an incredible time. We will DEFINITELY be back to Vieques and to this beautiful home!

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Mireya, the host, was very attentive and accommodating. However, there was a minor issue with the shower head in one of the two bathrooms, which was not in good working condition. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated Mireya's hospitality.

My family of four with two kids under ten stayed at this beautiful home in Vieques for spring break! It exceeded our expectations. The home is lovely, updated and clean. The back yard was pleasant enough although it was too hot to hang out there when we visited but we went to the beach everyday so that didn’t matter to us. It’s an easy walk down the hill to the main promenade in Esperanza. Lots of good food choices there. There is a pretty well stocked bodega around the corner (Colmado Lydia) with all the essentials, and a local restaurant serving up fresh caught fish and PR cuisine a block away. The locals were friendly. And the area felt safe. I’d recommend to bring your white noise if you are a light sleeper. The next door neighbor’s dogs barked every morning around 6am and woke up my daughter. The island roasters crow at all hours of the night. But we didn’t mind that too much. It’s part of the charm of Vieques. Overall a great stay! We’d love to come back someday!
