great place to stay, you can’t ask for a better location to go to the beach it is literally behind you

The house is situated right behind the dunes on a street leading to the main beach area of this part of Esmoriz. It has been really nicely decorated and repainted, but it is a lot older than I had expected. The towels and linens, as well as bathroom and kitchen were clean, however when we arrived there was a very strong smell of mold and must, and the bedcovers, pillows etc felt very damp. We had the windows open day and night just to try to get this smell to dissipate some. Also the closet in the bedroom with the two beds smelled so horrible when we opened it (of mold and rot), not usable. The gasoutlet of the stove works a bit unreliable, microwave and little toaster oven did not look very trustworthy either. So all in all, cooking in this kitchen is somewhat restricted. The washing machine was so old and rusty, we ended up going to the Laundromat. The house has a lot of potential but would really need structural repair to get rid of humidity and moldy smells.

Lastima del tiempo; frío y lluvioso. Aún así, hemos disfrutado mucho del entorno y de las playas al sur de Esmoriz. Portugal es maravilloso

Super week-end à Esmoriz. La maison est super cozy. L’emplacement est parfait, tout près de l’océan. Les couchers de soleil sont magiques.
