My family and I had a memorable five nights stay at the Silva Surf Home. Mr and Mrs Silva made us feel right at home. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Silva’s warmth adds to the whole experience. The garden is beautiful with lots of birds. They also accepted our request for late breakfast (the pancakes were excellent), which is super nice! Their house is close to the market and restaurants, making it very accessible. We made lots of friends while we stayed here. They also have a good laundry service. The clothes were looked and smelt fresh after the wash. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a comfortable stay and local experience!

Der Aufenthalt war von den Gastgebern sehr wertschätzend und aufmerksam gestaltet. In unserem privaten Zimmer haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfanden die Ausstattung sehr passend. Das Frühstück wurde authentisch und individuell serviert! Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und die Gastfreundschaft!!

So good we decided to stay for a month. Silva and his family are the most lovely and genuine people you could wish to his your stay. They hosted a party for a group who were leaving after a 7 week stay. Bringing friends over for a sing along and 5* food. Silva cannot do enough for you and is always around to help with anything. Can't really put into words how happy we are with our stay. We will be coming back again in the future and will recommend to anyone visiting weligama. Silva has become a friend of ours and made our stay a one we will remember.
