We stayed in Hilary’s house with 3 adults and 7 kids for about 2 weeks. The home was comfortable, beautiful, and the team took good care of us. They cooled and did our laundry. Eddie the host went above and beyond. We hope to visit again. Thanks!
Beautiful place - exactly as photographed … the rooms are so comfortable - great linens, mattress. Huge living area. Garden is exceptional. Staff friendly, trustworthy and helpful and host was very responsive. The small street can be a bit tricky to find so use the detailed instructions by the host. Feels like a retreat space outside the business of central kampala …

Our stay at Hilary’s house was absolutely perfect! We were looking for a house that felt like home and had plenty of room for our local Ugandan friends to be able to stay with us. Both the inside of the house and the grounds were comfortable and peaceful and relaxing. We also hosted a party in the yard for 30 people. Hilary and Eddie were extremely helpful in providing contacts, a budget and a potential menu. The party was a big success. Eddie was ever present in an understated way. Eddie was a wonderful person to chat with and discuss an endless array of topics. Baker was very attentive to details around the house. This is a wonderful stay that allows you to have an oasis from the hustle of Kampala. I can’t recommend this highly enough!
The house was clean and neat like presented on the fotos. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We were very lucky to meet the super friendly and helpful team which helped us with cooking, cleaning and every other wish or issue we had. Also a highlight was our Barbecue which we enjoyed on the nice terrace with our whole family and friends. Eddie always came up with great ideas of adventures to do around the Kampala area.
