In town for an interview and it was a perfect location. Dongxue was super responsive and super helpful and it was an overall great experience.

Dongxue is a very friendly and responsive host, but this listing has some problems. First, the doorknob to the front door is partly broken and requires a lot of force to close. The shower is constructed so that the drainage is extremely poor, and there is mold all around the edges of the shower. There was hair and dirt on the floor and on surfaces. Dongxue arranged for professional cleaning on the second day of my stay, but the cleaner mysteriously cancelled. The most serious problem is that I booked this tiny house specifically for the air conditioning, in view of the heat waves that so often come upon California summers. But the A/C was broken and there was only a portable A/C missing its hot air duct. Window isn't an option due to flies outside. I suggest that you request and review pictures from every corner of the tiny house. The bathroom is left out of the listing's official pictures, which largely depict the lovely surroundings and exterior—which I found to be accurate!

It’s small place to stay but has everything needed. A great option if you are looking for a private place to stay. It’s worth the price in Palo Alto. Dongxue is super friendly and generous. My dog accidentally ripped a chair mat corner into pieces and Doongxue doesn’t even frown upon me. I was not charged additionally:) So grateful about living there for one month. One thing to be noted is it may be hot in the summer time if you stay in the daytime. Overall excellent experience. Thank you Dongxue!

Dongxue was very responsive and friendly and helpful could not have asked for more on that front. She even helped me solve a problem with a steamer last minute that was an operator error, AND brought cookies. So Sweet. It is so great that places that allow dogs exist in areas like Palo Alto. The place was quiet and had all the things I needed, but it needs some maintenance. For the price I expected the front door to close properly (the inside handle was missing) and the bathroom to be clean. The yard also had some random stuff lying around that my dog would get in to. The internet was also a problem at certain hours, but she explained that and I knew so going in and it really was not a big deal or a lot of time. Overall, it met my needs but unless I was sure some work was done on upkeep, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Very responsive and good host. Small and nice place. Internet was an issue, and very slow at times. Otherwise a great place to stay.
