From the start communication was perfect, Khaled always responded in a timely manner. All taxi pickups were without a hitch, friendly drivers waiting on me both times. Once I arrived at the camp I was blown away, plenty of comfortable mats/seating on the ground, an abundance of super warm blankets, tea being cooked on the center fire pit, soon to be followed by the best food I’ve had in Jordan yet, and plenty of it. But what really made this special and made me feel welcomed and comfortable was Khaled and the 3 other gentleman that worked with him (soon to be 5 when the guitar music showed up!). They were friendly, attentive and very hospitable. Between them and actually sleeping warmly (in December) under the stars is what sets this camp aside. The next morning was followed by a traditional breakfast, and I personally went on a fun 4x4 2 hour desert tour that I recommend. If I could change anything, I would of stayed two night.
