So we can not fault the location in any way. It was phenomenal. The literature in the Hut did not match our experience. It said that the evening meal is included. Which was not the case. Make sure you take food and drink with you. The literature showed you could see the Northern lights from inside looking out the window. This is not possible as the huts all face away from the Northern Lights, so take lots of clothing to keep you warm whilst you observe them outside ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aurora Hut. The cozy atmosphere, stunning views, and impeccable service made it a truly memorable experience. We appreciate the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Looking forward to returning soon!

Der Aufenthalt war toll - mitten im Wald, ein richtig schönes Camp mit verschiedenen Saunen, unberührter Natur und wirklich netten Mitarbeitern! Bei Fragen wurde uns sofort weitergeholfen. Man muss sich etwas an die Trocken-Toiletten und die Abgeschiedenheit gewöhnen (es gibt allerdings bei den Duschen auch normale Toiletten), aber des Ausblick und die Erfahrung ist es wirklich wert! Danke! 😊

Plus: The place is isolated with great natural view and privacy. The floating hut is well designed with all necessary facilities including water pump, gas oven, heater, wifi, good security system and great speaker/sound bluetooth system. The view from the place is spectacular with panoramic glass ceiling and glass wall. Room for improvement: We arrived ~5pm. Needed to carry luggages about 150m to the lake. We were then supposed to row a boat out another 50m to the floating hut; however, the surface of the lake was frozen but not hard enough to walk on. We broke the ice all the way and rowed to the place. The next day, the surface of the lake was still frozen with even thicker ice, but still could not be walked on. We were really struggling breaking the ice and getting back to shore. We wished that we could have been warned, advised or supported how to handle the icing surface of the lake . We were not sure how to get an urgent support right then, since there was no staff at the camp.
