This was not at all what I expected especially after driving 10 hours! This place is absolutely not what I wanted to walk into. I mean almost $100 a night for literally a bed? The tv did not work. Which didn’t surprise me as it was a old tv. The “ chandelier “ if you can even call it that, was hanging so low it was almost touching the bed. The bed was hard. There is no view whatsoever it is in the middle of a little backwoods town, kinda creepy tbh. I didn’t like the fact you have to share the same toilet and shower with every other guest and there looked to be like 10 other rooms. So 10 or more people? There was men’s “ private area “ hair on the toilet along with urine. The sink was so orange / yellow, I honestly thought it was just rust. Until I took a piece of towel and wiped a little bit and it wiped right off............ just showing they do not clean the place. There was hair on the bed women’s long black curly hair. The towels and wash clothes that was left on the bed ? No. Most certainly not! In instantly threw them on the floor. They were half white / half brownish color. They had stains on all of them. It took forever to get into the room because the door knobs / codes are so old I truly don’t know how they even work at this point. I didn’t expect a whole lot but almost $100 a night for that? That was ridiculous. I even messaged the host about a couple things telling her i would be checking out that same morning. I arrived 3am and left about 4 hours after sleeping. The host never responded which I thought was unprofessional. 10 minutes after checking out, I see the price dropped from almost $100 to $65 a night!!! Probably because others had complained as well! Or that’s how she gets people to come there then drops the price to get them to keep staying. If your just looking for somewhere to crash for the night this place is fine! But not somewhere you would bring your girl on vacation or your family.

Heads up, I didnt realize that the bathroom was not in the room. i dont know if it was in the description but besides that i had a great time.

Shaniqua was great to work with and very helpful. I didn't receive my check-in information from AirBnB and even though we checked-in past midnight, she was awake and ready to help us. The house lady also forgot to put out towels and Shaniqua made sure we got them. However the place itself was not what I was expecting. It had more of a motel-feel than a boutique hotel. There are two communal bathrooms for all the guests to share, which was stated in the listing, but there are no pictures to show what the bathrooms look like. While the facility itself was clean and livable, it's not updated and quite rundown. The pictures are misleading. Although I wouldn't stay here again, Shaniqua was great and I really enjoyed working with her.

Very clean and Shaniqua was a delight. Also, the bar downstairs is THE place to go.
