Nice house, garden and great view. Very old and used furniture, dusty smell inside. Clean at the surface, when you look closer, not anymore. The hosed provided us with fresh eggs, that was very welcome.

We were on a discovery journey with our adult children into our family roots in both Ireland and Scotland. We enjoyed a few days in Dublin and then went to the area of the Shannon River. We had a wonderful stay at the Quay. The views are stunning, the communication with our hostess was excellent, and the house itself, is a delightful place from which to explore the environs. We all gave this magical place a ten thumbs up!

The Quay is a beautiful old farm house in a quite but picturesque village,the views are just stunning. The house is very spacious,with a beautiful living room that was recently renovated. The aga gives great warmth and a farmhouse feel to it.

With sweeping views over the Shannon, Killofin house was cozy warm and delight to be at. Highly recommended and the host was very helpful. Chickens roam freely, giving an authentic farmhouse feel!
