Kaunis paikka, syrjäinen mutta sopi meille hyvin. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Tie perille oli hieman haastava mutta vaivan arvoinen.

Very cute remote summer house with sauna in the middle of the woods by the sea, which had all the amenities you would need for a quick and easy stay. The place does not have heating so it is worth heating up the sauna every day but despite that, cute place. Might be great to also have a dishwasher but that would be an extra.

Estonia's Saaremaa island is remote itself, but Tagaranna (loosely translated as "The Far Coast") is probably the most secluded place on that island. So, if you are looking for solitude, that's the place. Maanus' place is in the middle of a deep, ancient pine forest, about 100 meters from the pebble beach. I would recommend a 4X4 to reach it. The area is one of the most beautiful ones on Saaremaa, with forests, juniper fields, limestone bluffs, and the sea. There are lots of hiking trails in the area. The cottage itself is small but charming. The beds are comfy, and the kitchenette has most of the stuff one would need (it does not have an oven, though). The sauna is roomy and pleasant, and takes about 45 minutes to heat up. If you will be visiting in a colder season as we did, be prepared that there is no electrical heating, and the rooms shall be heated by burning wood in the sauna. Still, it may get a bit chilly by the morning. That will not be an issue in the summertime.

Very comfy seasise house. Beautiful sunset and pine forest. I reccomend a visit.
