We had a wonderful stay at Ocean View The apartment was lovely and would definitely recommend it /return However, there are a few things to note: There are no opening windows so the apartment can get very stuffy as it’s surrounded by full length glass doors/windows The beautiful kitchen needs a bread knife! The shower needs a caddy to save us oldies constantly bending over 😂 and finally, we took our 5 year old grandson and personally, I would say this is not really for young children the way it is laid out ( safety reasons: low wall at top next to stairs / lift directly into apartment) That said, these are just our opinions We really had a fab time Thank you

Beautiful place to stay, you can hear the waves from your bed! The views are wonderful and the location is great (up a steep but short hill). Underfloor heating throughout kept us cosy. Fully equipped with everything you need. Tiny points to improve: there was a double sized sheet on the king-size bed which was irritating. The blinds are very tatty in places so don't close properly and need refreshing. There should definitely be a sofa in front of the window overlooking the beach! But these are small things and overall it is a brilliant choice and I would highly recommend it!

Lovely location and beautiful flat. Niggling things that given the price are worth mentioning in the hope the Ocean take note rather than to deter anyone (as it is a lovely place and location). Nespresso machine, but no pods and no cafetiere so no way to make coffee. Frying pans scratched to the point of unnusability. Morning light brighter than anticipated - I understand that there may be limits on what they can do about this but many of the blinds were damaged allowing in additional light, or blinds with big gaps between them doing the same. Internet access intermittent. Electric car charger useless because it's a Pod Point charger but not on the Pod Point network... My hope is that Ocean reply to this email explaining how these items have been addressed and that consequently this review has no negative impact on their business, I don't want to hurt a small business, but I am tired of paying for luxury only to find these kinds of easily fixed frustrations getting in the way.

Fantastic location — views are awesome from both floors. Wrap around balconies also are great. Also really good comms. The space is pretty big and a great layout and as you’re top floor there’s no noise from neighbours (aside from the elevator, which is nestled into the apartment). Best sofa we’ve sat on in ages—incredibly comfy and Biggest tv we’ve seen in a rental. Easy 2min walk to the beach (steep hill but not far) and there’s a Londis, surf/beach shops and mini golf and arcade within minutes too. Good fun! If you’re planning to work from here, beware need for video-calls as internet isn’t the best. Awareness if you’re a light sleeper or private person: Not any sound-proofing between rooms as the floor-length wrap around windows leave a gap between the rooms and (as listing says) bring eye masks!

Spacious and ideally placed apartment with great underfloor heating. Very near to all the amenities in Woolacombe and lovely sunsets.
