It was a nice pleasant place , her reception was good, lots of food and wine in the house and good hospitality, nice place to relax, and very easy to get there, her directions were pin point, thank you Brenda.

Brenda and Shaun have a home in a lovely rural location. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the conservatory, overlooking the flowing river and many birds coming to the feeders. Outside space is also wonderful, although the weather didn't allow us to make the most of the terrace, fire pit etc. Cooking on the Aga was a treat in the well equipped kitchen. It was particularly wet and very cold during our few days, so it would have been good if we had had some control over the central heating, although the fire and endless supply of logs kept the downstairs more than comfortable. The local pub is not walkable if you have young kids. Also remember that you are actually staying in someone's home, as the house rules explain, so be mindful that there are personal possessions, clothing, foodstuff etc. that don't belong to you!

The Old Mill really is a home away from home. A lovely cottage in the Welsh countryside. It has everything you would need for a relaxing stay. First time cooking with an AGA cooker, which was great and we loved having the fire on in the evening after a day out. Brenda and Shaun are really friendly hosts and very helpful. By far the best property we have booked. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was amazing and the setting so picturesque and idyllic , the perfect peaceful location for a weekend to recharge. Brenda and Shaun were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much, we will be back soon as a weekend just wasn't long enough

Great spot, relaxing, beautiful calm river is fun for kids (especially with rubber rings!), peaceful location, extensive well kept grounds, lots of space inside and outside, comfortable beds, great hosts, many thanks!
