Great place and area with a nice surf/backpacker vibe all over it. Room was like described in pictures, very cosy and nice. Location was great, ten minute walking distance to beach and walking street. Communication with Thomas and his staff at site was good and he made sure we got all we needed. But.. - staff at reception/restaurant didn’t have anything to do with the hostel part which we didn’t find out until the last days, which is why they were not so keen to help with small things - asian beds are generally hard which we are used to but this was a new kind of hard Overall an okay stay but the things pointed out above could be improved and made clearer.

Wer zentral wohnen möchte und eine Kombination von Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten möchte, ist hier richtig. Das Hostel ist sehr einfach, hat aber alles was man braucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das kostenlose Wasser, dass man an der Rezeption auffüllen kann, ist von großem Vorteil. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Room was clean and spacious which we enjoyed. It is very dark since the windows are made of solid wood and has to be closed when using AC and to avoid bugs. Wi-Fi a bit slow and we would have liked a mosquito net like they have in the dorm rooms. Thomas was nice when we met him at check in but a bit slow at responding later on and seemed a bit uninterested in helping us when we reached out via the chat. Not a problem just not excellent service 😊 P.s bring earplugs. The room is right under another (dorm?)room and people came home drunk and woke us up every night 😊 Overall would recommend staying here if you’re on a budget 😊

Amazing room and peaceful artsy ambience. Short walks to restaurants shops beaches. Sadly they had renovations and the kitchen was closed, so had to go out for coffee/breakfast, but that wasn’t a big issue for us just a bit unexpected. We would definitely stay there again!
