This was our second time staying at Hiwassee Acres. I am relocating to the area and Kathi's place was available the month of December. Kathi is responsive to messages when we needed something (internet issue, trash removal). She let us know if we needed anything to contact her, but largely let us be. Their location is remote, set on top of a hill in the woods. It is very quite. It is a very relaxing setting.

Kathi and David were very helpful when we arrived a couple of hours after dark and showed us right to the place personally. The setting is peaceful and quiet. Their place had everything we needed. I have already book the same place for a month for a work re-location.

Dear prospective guest, I encourage you to stop reading reviews and book your stay at Hiwassee Acres. You won't regret it. My family very much enjoyed our weekend; it was relaxing -- aside from an unexpectedly competitive pickleball point -- and we plan to return soon. If you're looking for a place to get away, and get together with family and friends, you will be hard-pressed to find better hosts or a better listing. Our original plan was to stay in Chattanooga, but I'm very happy we looked outside the city and found Kathi's listing. You will be too.

For this being our first Airbnb experience, Hiwassee Acres, made our stay pleasant! The house was great and so nice and clean! I would highly recommend Hiwassee Acres. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed sitting by the river and pond! We will definitely stay at Hiwasse Acres on our return trip to TN!

Wonderful stay! House was well off the beaten path, but easy to find with the directions from the host. David made special accommodations for us and was so helpful! Communication was top notch. We appreciated the host and really enjoyed our stay. Hope to visit again soon!
