Avallon Lodges is a hidden gem in the North Cornwall countryside. We are so glad to have stumbled across it. We’ll definitely be going back. The lodges are a brilliant space for a family. We had our two girls in a twin room, while my wife and I were in the double. There was plenty of living space for rainy days, though we avoided any of those. The hot tub was a definitely high light and morning and dusk dips were a daily routine. The grounds are beautiful with a large communal lawn area for playing, and smaller secluded areas around the lodges. The location is fantastic for exploring this rugged part of Cornwall. Close to Launceston and the A30 so access to wider Cornwall is easy. Circa 10 miles to Bude and the North Coast. Rural yet connected! Overall a really positive experience and one we’ll be using again and recommending to friends, but not too many - shhhhh.

Avallon Lodges is based in a really quiet, beautiful part of Cornwall. Lots of great walks and beaches nearby. The host was very welcoming and happy to show us how to access the onsite lake for an evening walk. The lodge we stayed in was very clean and the hot tub was easy to use. Thoroughly recommended!
