About the house The main house is 55 m2 and 100% refurbished. It contains a kitchen with all amenities in open connection with the dining area and a larger living room. The living room has a heat pump (Aircon + heat), a fireplace, TV (chrome-cast), a large couch and a very comfortable relax area with a 140x200 cm pink futon. This futon can be used as a 2ps bed in case you are more than 6 adults. There is a tasteful bathroom (completely refurbished in 2020) and a sleeping room with a double bed. There is free high speed wi-fi and direct access to a very spacious wooden terrace. The annex from 2019 is 27 m2 and holds two spacious tastefully decorated additional bedrooms, each with double beds and one of them with toilet. In addition, there is a room at the end of the annex with washing machine, extra fridge and storage facilities. Exterior: The house is situated on a 1500 m2 land piece and has a 45 m2 large wooden sunny terrasse with gas grill, lounge area and outside dining area. As part of the terrasse complex there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a 6 pax hottub (vildmarksbad). For kids there is a large trampolin, a 35 meter zipline, a tree-cabin with top balcony large enough to sleep in and plenty of grass to play badminton, football etc. In one corner of the garden there is a new and absolutely fabulous shelter. Its equipped with real madrasas and it easily sleeps up to 5 adults. There is bon fire in front of the shelter and it is - without kidding - a very very serious competitor to all bedrooms, completely irrespective of weather!! The house is co-owner of a 10.000 m2 area right next to the house where two large grass areas can be used to e.g., play football, badminton, volleyball or other games that requires even more space than the house offers. The area The house is only 500 meters from one of DK's best beaches. - sand, sand dunes and child-friendly. At the beach there is a newly build beach-house with free toilets and shower (and free wi-fi). On your way to the beach ((200 meters from the house) you pass by a combined shop and bakery (likely closed in the off-season). The towns of Rorvig and Nykøbing Sjælland are bicycle distance away both with fascinating harbor area, restaurants, shops, groceries, cinema etc. Other attractions include Dragsholm Castle from the 12th century that holds a Michelin star restaurant, Rørvig Inn (the food is really good and really good value for money), stone pillars from the early Stoneage, Klint Hills, golf course in Hojby, fisching lakes, galleries, local craft-shops, Zealand Adventure Park. Electricity is paid separately after each stay. The meter is read upon arrival and when checking out. The electricity prices vary considerably and has lately risen substantially. The price charged for electricity will be the market rate at the point of the stay. Wooden fire for the hot tub and bon-fire can be supplied but is paid for separately.
