Such a wonderful, peaceful and private home for a family getaway! Phenomenal hosts. The scenery and view as well as the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The house was squeaky clean which made us feel right at home. The location couldn't have been better. Restaurants and grocery store were within 5-7 minutes. This is more of a personal thiny but having a washer and dryer was a game changer. We will always remember your friendly horse, Major! He is so sweet and was the cherry on top for the week! We were sad to say goodbye! I highly recommend staying here! Thanks again for everything, I am sure we will be back in the future!

This family of 5 had a great time staying in this charming cottage. We didn't realize it at first, but after some exploration we found everything a family could want...fishing poles, a tackle box, bug spray, games, toiletries, fire pit, wood, and plenty of kitchen gadgets and dishes. It was a little cool this past week and the bedrooms were cooler, but heaters are provided and kept us comfy. We had a relaxing time. It was a little further than we would have liked from Williamsburg and everytime we went over the bridge we paid tolls...BUT...this is of no fault of the owners and did not take away from the relaxing atmosphere of the cottage.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We visited on a break between college visits; we weren't looking for activities - just a break. This house was perfect! It was really clean. The layout was perfect for my family of 5. The size was perfect, too. We spent hours chilling on the deck and talking, and we got to see a lovely sunset (although any time of day was great). We are not a "just chill" family but this house helped us do that. We looked to see if we could return for our anniversary but it's already booked. Maybe next year.

We absolutely loved our stay on Sarah’s Creek. Ann personally greeted us upon our arrival. The cabin was beautiful and rich with history. The location so peaceful and serene. We were close to all our points of interest. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to stay in the area. Was perfect for our family of four.
