great location and a cute tiny house
Overall a great spot- so peaceful and within 15 minutes of Port Angeles. We hiked Olympic Ntl. Park during the day and would pop into town for dinner, returning back to the tiny house to unwind and rest. Jon offered to build us a fire (which we didn't take advantage of, but what a lovely offer!). The view of the water was hard to beat as we woke up each morning. One thing to know: the bed up in the loft is SO CLOSE to the ceiling that my teenage daughter (5'7") couldn't really sleep up there comfortably bc you can't really even sleep on your side or turn easily without bumping your head on the ceiling slope. So in our opinion it's a minimally functional second bed- technically a bed, but she and I chose to just share the main queen bed rather than put her in the loft. A smaller kid could make it work though. Many thanks to Jon and Cynthia for an amazing stay on our mother/daughter weekend!
The cabin truly deserves a 5 star rating! Everything is exactly as described (and even better) - it is well equipped, very comfortable, the view is breathtaking and Jon & Cynthia a perfect hosts. Wen can absolutely recommend staying there and we hope we will be able to come back one day.
This place is the perfect getaway. Extremely quiet and serene. Jon was super responsive, and very easy to talk to. The views were amazing, along with the comfortability of the overall place. I will definitely be back :)
Perfect place to relax during our week up there. I had a lot of work to do on my own property and Cynthia and Jon's place was great to come back to at the end of an intense day. The cabin was super well stocked and had tons of info on the area for hiking and other activities, the view from the deck was even better than we expected. They were amazing hosts and would definitely stay there again in the future.
